As an item for a Christmas market, a wooden picture frame was planned. It had to be small and light enough for a customer to carry around with a bunch of other shopping. So, an initially planned wooden frame was replaced by two wooden bars that held a sheet of paper or fabric with a photo or a drawing printed on it. A scroll, rather than a picture frame, should be hung on the wall either with or without a string. With a string, it would garner a traditional look. Without it, a modern one. Mor Ro decided to go for both and devised a way to incorporate two different ways of hanging the scroll in one item.
