I Can Touch The Sky

A moving doll with a manually powered mechanism is called an automaton. This wooden one was carved after Mor Ro's niece, who tried to poke the sky with a tree branch she picked up on her way home. She was five years old then.

With the handle attached to the box being rotated, the small wooden girl keeps jumping.
